Can't find Apply Default under the Format menu due to replaced by AutoFormat.
Cause:
The 'Apply Default' command has been replaced by the 'AutoFormat' command in the Form and Report Design view.
Solution:
To customize an autoformat for a form or report, in form or report design view, select the 'Format' menu and select 'AutoFormat...'.
Do the following with a form or report open in design view:
1) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'AutoFormat...'. (The AutoFormat dialog box appears.)
2) Select a format from the '<object> AutoFormat' list box, where <object> is either 'Form' or 'Report'.

3) Click 'Options'. (The dialog box expands at the bottom, displaying the Attributes to Apply group.)
4) Do one of the following in the 'Attributes to Apply' group:

a) Select the 'Font' check box to apply font attributes.
b) Select the 'Color' check box to apply color attributes.
c) Select the 'Border' check box to apply border attributes.
5) Click 'Customize...'. (The Customize AutoFormat dialog box appears.)
6) Do one or more of the following in the 'Customize Options' group:

a) Select the 'Create a new AutoFormat based on the <object> '<object name>' radio button, where <object> is either 'Form' or 'Report' and <object name> is the name of the form or report.
b) Select the 'Update <AF name> with values from the <object> '<object name>' radio button, where <AF name> is the name of the AutoFormat, <object> is either 'Form' or 'Report', and <object name> is the name of the form or report.
c) Select the 'Delete <AF name>' radio button, where <AF name> is the name of the AutoFormat.
7) Click 'OK'. (The AutoFormat dialog box reappears.)
8) Click 'OK'.
